    the district heard the news that day so some of them went to the house armed with sticks and other weapons.
    When the landlord's men arrived they were confronted by a large number of tenants. A fierce fight took place then and after half an hour the landlord's men ran away.
    Another night they came for a man called Molloney who lived in Bekan. He was accused of doing something wrong so they came to arrest him. Molloney was gone to a neighbour's house and his wife was the only person in the house. When she heard the men coming she got a hayfork and
