    The graveyard is around the ruins of an old church. There is a monument about a hundred yards from the cemetery in Bekan.
    On top of some of the grave there are artificial flowers in glass cases others have iron railings around them. Some people who live at the very end of the parish are buried in Ballyhaunis Cemetery.
