  1. Once upon a time there was a big crowd gathering in a house spinning flax into thread for linen use. There was a boy in this house about to get married and his mother had told him that the best spinner amongst the crowd was the one he should marry. There were rich and poor girls in the crowd. One of the richer of them thought that she herself should be the bride that would be selected but the young man thought differently. There was one girl in the crowd that had his heart won. She was poor but a good spinner.
