    Houses - there are twenty-two houses in my townland. Fourteen of these houses are thatched and eight are slated. The commonest name in my townland is Flannelly. The reason that Carracastle is caleed that name is because there were castles in it long ago.
    The land that is in our village is not very good. It is middling hilly too. There are not many trees in Carracastle. One river flows through it. There is not any lake in Carracastle.
    People - There are eight people getting the old age pension. Nine are getting dole. All
