    Margets Field
    It gets its name from being in possession of a woman the name of Margret Loftus
    Cruchúán[?] Andrew
    So called as it beonged to a man the name of Andrew it has a fairly high hill and we are told that there was a great big lake at the foot of it but there is no trace of it now.
    The Páirc
    It is the largest field were the young bouys used to play football and other games long ago.
    Clúin na Claidhe
    It gets its name from being a good piece of land for grass and having high fences all round it.
    Crucán Ruadh
    It gets its name from the red soil found there.
    The following are the names in my village
    The Mill Field
    It belonged to a man the name of Dempsey. There was a mill in one corner of the field and it was close to the river Brosna. It was used for grinding oats wheat and
