  1. There is a ruin of an old kennell on the left hand side of the Rappa Road and is about one hundred yards from the Rappa Castle. It was built by the Knoxes of Rappa Castle as a place for their dogs. There was a loft over head and it's there the caretaker used to sleep.
    There are a lot of stories told in connection with what is said to be blood which is to be seen to this day outside on one corner of the gable.
