Long ago there lived a king who had a beautiful wife.

    (continued from previous page)
a crowd of huntsmen passed through the forest and when they came to where the girl was, the dogs began to growl round the tree and one of the huntsmen found her and took her home with him. He sent her working to a kings castle. When the king saw her, he took her to one of the rooms and had a long conversation with her and when she told him her story he had great pity for her and said that he would marry her and make her queen of the land. She answered and said that she would. They got married and lived happily ever after.
