    as a holy water font, and Mass was often celebrated here.
    About four years ago two Missionary priests went down to see this mass Rock, and left at it a crucifix which is there still.
    There is another Mass Rock in a field owned by Thomas Mc Neely a native of Kildoney. This field is called “The Reilig”, and it is supposed it was a graveyard as the name shows that clearly.
    It is said there is a cave on the South side of this field, and the entrance to it is very narrow.
    One day a man with a candle and a dog went into this cave, and when half way through the light went out and it is a mystery how it did so. The man was never heard of afterwards, but the dog was dead in the cave.
