    A lady came from Dublin to show her how to work the machine and remained with her for a fortnight. When she had learned the business she displayed some of the jumpers on her shop window. She knits children's jumpers, women's jumpers, women's jumper suits, and men's pullovers. She is carrying on a flourishing business at present and her charge is very reasonable. For a child's jumper she charges 7s=6d; for a woman's jumper 12s=6d; for a jumper suit £1=5s=0d and for a man's pullover 13s=0d.
    She stocks all colours of woollen thread.
    She supplies most of the pupils of the Gortnor Abbey, Castlebar, and Kiltimagh
