    the Harvest. This is done to keep away the blight, and to make the crop good.
    Starch:
    The people used to make starch from potatoes long ago. They selected the biggest potatoes and grated them. The starch lay at the bottom of the vessel. It was then put into a pan to dry. When it was dry it was broken up and put into boxes.
