  1. My father was more than twelve years old when he first began to wear shoes. There is a man named Kelly who never wears any boots or shoes. He lives in Glenfinn
    The children of Meenreagh wear shoes to school in Winter but they wear none in Summer.
    Long ago the people used to put salt and mustard in water in which they washed their feet to keep them from taking diseases.
    Shoes are made and repaired in the district. There are two shoemakers in Corgary and their names are Mick Mc Hugh and John Mc Guire. There is also a shoemaker in Meeliskybane and his name is Matthew Gallen.
