James McLaughlin of Crislaugheel can cure it with a silver coin brought to him by the patient. He take the coin and spits on it and spits on the ringworm and makes the sign of the cross three times in succession on the ringworm.
The doctor must be fasting and must accept no pay as if he would there would be no cure If anyone would hang out a handkerchief on May eve and if the take a headache tie the handkerchief round their head and it is said that the headache will cease. To cure Sinews:-
(1) To hold a penny to the sprain.
