    some of these "poundies".
    First of all about a bowlful of "poundies" are put on the bakeboard and mixed with flour and a little salt and kneaded.
    After kneading they are cut into portions and then put on the frying-pan and cooked. While hot butter is put on them and are kept for tea in the evening.
