    kind of crosses that are hung up in the out houses. Thirty six rushes are got and then eighteen of these are placed upwards and downwards in three equal parts. Then six of the other eighteen rushes are placed cross ways going over the first six and going under the second six and going over the third six rushes. Then six more rushes are placed in the same direction going under the first over the second and under the third six. Then a third six. After that the four ends are tied and the cross is complete. These are the kind of crosses that are hung up in the dwelling houses.
