- MermaidsA mermaid is a half of a fish and the half of human being. It has a tail like a fish and its head is of long fair hair. They are not able to talk but they are suppose to have pearl (th) teeth of great value. There are not many mermaids.
There is a story told about a baby mermaid which was once with its father and mother and brothers and sisters. They came unto dry land and it was a very sunny day in Summer.
There was woman who wanted a baby. Every day she searched the shore hoping to find one.
This woman happened to be walking around the place where the mermaids were, and it happened that this baby mermaid was laid to rest in a little pool near by, but it was not near the (shore) sea. So when the other mermaids saw the unexpected(continues on next page)- Collector
