- On the north eastern side of the hill there is a hollow. In this hollow at one time, for it was then deep enough, there was an altar large enough for priest to say Mass in it - while watch and ward was kept on Enoc na mbuacaille for the soldiers, or as they were better known as the Red Coats who would slay the priest if they caught him.
