Cappatagle - There are two fairs held in Cappataggle every year one in May and another in October, There are no traditions about fairs being held in the neighbourhood of centery scene or castle forts. The town fairs are held in special fair places it is called the fair green. Luck money is given. The agreement is made by stricking hands together. Animals are usually marked by cutting the hair of the side or by some mark on his horn. There is a fair held in Ballinasloe every year for the sale of cattle.Collector;
