All you that is at your liberty
I hope you will not fear.
To read those few and simple lines
For we who hold so dear
In praise of bowles and Tully
The convicts from Looscaun
Who near afraid to face their foe
Without either sword or gun
Young Kelly was his parents joy.
As he was their only son
To take his life that very night
Old Callaghan charged his gun
To see his poor age parents
Looking on their only child
As the blood came flowing from
hi wounds how bitterly they cried.

They blessed the day and so they may
That connaguth boys came o'er
Who bravely fought to save his life
For Kelly was no more
They did not come prepared to kill
As you may plainly see
The were not afraid to face their judge
For they thought he'd set them free
