It was just twelve o clock one Christmas Eve night when the bells were ringing the Blacksmith noticed a ghostly glimmer in the darkness. Then a tall. stooping old man carrying a scythe over his shoulder stepped forward. to the blacksmith's forge and begged him to drive a nail into his scythe.
