- There is a holy well in my parish called St Patricks well. It is a mile from the village of Tullaghan. A Station is made every year on St Patricks Day. The Station consists of the Rosary and a sermon on St Patrick and Benediction in the Tullaghan Chapel. Large crowds come from the surrounding districts and a public procession is held. The people sing hymns and bands play the music. The people bring water from the well for the cure of any ailment. People can make a private Station any time of year they wish.
The well is in a field belonging to Miss Nickloson of Tullaghan. it is on the side of a hill overlooking(continues on next page)- Collector
