    Clay floors were in very house except hose owned by the wealthier class which had flag floors.
    Half doors are very common now, even more common than in former times.
    Turd and wood were used for fire. There was no coal at that time.
    The lights at night were very different from our lights at the present day. They had no lamps but rushlights were used. The rushes were peeled and dipped in grease. These candles were made locally.
