the los of their land. In our great grand fathers time a man from Correvan went with the rent of the whole townland up to the landlord. He had to go to Bawnboy a distance of twenty two miles. When he went in to the landlord and gave him the money he counted it and it was just one half penny short. The landlord threw the money down at the man's feet and the poor man had to go down on his knees and pick up the money into his hat and add the other half penny to it.
