thread was given to a weaver out of which he made flannel. Sometimes he made blankets out of the flannel. The woman used to bring home some of the flannel and dye it red and make petticoats out of it. They use also make baíníns out of it. The weaver who lived in this district was Mike Cottle. He lived in Fort Browne and was now living in Cooloo. The tools the tailor used long ago were a thimble with no bottom in it, needles, scissors and lape board.
