- There is an old road which used to come down from "The Farmyard" and out at "the old school" at Mrs Doherty's at Jamestown Cross Roads. That was at the time when Jamestown was walled and the "poor common" people were not allowed through it. - they had to go round this road. The track of it is there yet.
- The remains of an old road are to be seen beginning at Kildorragh and it goes on to Fargrin[?] Drumsna. There were steps for crossing the river into Charlestown, near Drumsna Bridge.
