    One summers evening, where at my leisure

    Those low life coolies, that we call police,
    From Corraterriff they came with speed
    With anxious viewing and venomous spewing
    To prove my ruin & to vent their spleen.
    But with all their plotting and schemes allotting
    Thro, Drumhulligan bottoms I took my way
    When I was loading after exploding
    They pounded upon me like wolves of prey
    "Give up your arms, make no alarms"
    To seize my darling, it was their aim,
    With a voice of thunder, that made me wonder
    They cried "Surrender in the Queen's name"
