    Well they carried her dead body (no coffins at that time, [?]) the stonebreakers (who worked at 4d a day) carried her dead body from heap of stones to the next heap of stones, until the last stone-breakers brought her to Aesalyn. I heard thousands of sad tales like that from my mother and father - they both lived through the famine - but I forget them nearly all now.
