    one can get near it, and it is built of clay, and moss, and it is lined with hair. The wren builds her nest in the eaves of houses, and in the roof of turf sheds.
    The swallow makes her nest in a byre that there is iron on the roof of it. Every year the swallow comes back to the old nest she made the year before. The Lark makes her nest in the centre of a field in a rush.
    The bird sits on the eggs for three weeks. Young boys are told not to rob birds' nests; because they would come during the night, and take them away.
    The weather can be judged by the behaviour of certain birds. The robin goes under-neath the hedge when it is going to rain The crows fly near to the ground, and the seagulls gather together in large numbers, and start shouting in the low lying grounds. The seabirds come in to the shore
