    The bird sits on the eggs for three weeks. Young boys are told not to rob birds' nests; because they would come during the night, and take them away.
    The weather can be judged by the behaviour of certain birds. The robin goes under-neath the hedge when it is going to rain The crows fly near to the ground, and the seagulls gather together in large numbers, and start shouting in the low lying grounds. The seabirds come in to the shore
