  1. If the first person you meet in the morning is a red-haired man or woman, you'll have bad luck for the day.
If you break a mirror, you'll have bad luck for seven years.
A girl should never whistle, because she is drawing the devil near her.
You should never go to a well, with the sign of new milk in the bucket.
If you were going astray and turn your coat inside out, you'ld go the right way.
If you put on a bib or a shirt or any clothes inside out, and not to know it, you'ld have good luck.
If you got a bit of thread on your stocking you're bound to get a letter.
A girl should never sneeze to the left, because she's putting harm on herself for the year.
If your shoes got ripped, they'ld be someone talking about you.
If you saw a moth or a spider walking on your clothes, tis a sign you'ld be getting a new suit.
If you were 90 years of age and to look into a looking glass, you'ld only be a young girl.
You should never go into a fort without kneeling down.
It isn't right to go near a blessed wall, while another person is paying rounds.
It isn't right to refuse "luck".
If you were buying anything from a Gipsy, and to put money into her hand, and take it out again, she'ld take away all your luck.
You should never shake hands with your right hand, because your left hand is nearer to your heart.
You should never turn your eyes when the clock strikes 12.
You should always bless yourself when the clock strikes.
