   boiled and the toothache would then be gone. They drank asses milk to cure the tinn-cough and they ate ferret leavings to cure the same thing. Mrs. Winters from Heathfield Castleconnor makes a cure for janduice from erebs. There was a woman in my village in by gone days who made cures for any ailment.

   Long ago some men used to lick lizards for the cure of the burn. My grandfather licked one of them and he could cure a burn where ever the burn was he would lick it and it would get better. It would be better in two or three days. When a person would have the ringworm he would go to a river that would be flowing between two counties and wash the sore with water from the river. When he would make the sign of the cross three times on the ringworm he would
