    H Mumps:-
    The seventh son in a family has the cure for the mumps. The cure is to put a donkey's head collar on the person who has them and then the seventh son has to lead him round the stable on three successive Fridays saying fiver paters and Aves.
    I1 Measels:-
    1 The roots of nettles boiled and drink the juice. 2 A dry apple boiled in milk.
    Boils:- To rub a fasting spit and ashes round the boils three mornings in succession also making the sign of the Cross over them each time.
    J Yellow-Jaundice:-
    1 The root of a boholawn that never blossomed is good boiled in water.
