    Heart-Failure:-
    The juice of dandelions.
    Burns:-
    Get the "sloms" out of a river and put them on the burn and then bandage it.
    Cow-Pox:-
    Some people say if a person writes his own name on the cow-pox with ink that it will be cured in a few days.
    Palate Down or Hoarseness:-
    Long ago some people had the cure of the "palate down" of hoarseness. They used to put a roasted potato on top of the persons head and pull out so many ribs of hair with their teeth and say some prayers and in a few days the person was cured.
