  1. If there is a red scar in the sky after sunset in summer it is a sign of good weather and in winter it is the sign of frost.
    When we see dark clouds in the sky we know we will soon have rain. If distant hills look near it is the sign of rain. When the wind blows from the east it is a sign of rainy weather. It is an old saying
    "When the wind blows from the east
    It is neither good for man or beast."
    We usually have snow when the north wind blows. We have mild weather when the wind blows from the south and west.
    If the robin comes near the door it is a sign we will soon have snow. If we the wild-geese flying around especially if they are low we say it is
