  1. Forts are found in nearly every district. In the townland of Ross there are two forts and in the townland of Rossmore there are two also
    The Tuatha De Dananns who are said to have changed themselves into fairies built those forts. They are of a round shape. They are always of a nice green colour and cattle like to eat the grass which grows on them.
    There are trees growing around some forts. People should not cut those trees and it is said that the person who cuts them
