    because the insects are flying low near the ground when the rain is coming. If the robin comes near the house and gets tame a snow storm will follow.
    If the wild birds are heard crying it is a sure sign of awful storm, such as the heron if she is seen flying around in the bogs or flying in on the land it is a sure sign of storm, or if the crows are seen resting on the fences it is a very bad omen.
