    Now far away from the dear old land

    1) Now far away from the dear old land in exile hear I roan, across the waters wild and wide far from my native home, the dear old scenes of long ago I do remember well, my youthful place and school boys days around.
    St. James well.
    2) I long to ramble there once more and meet with comrades true, and view again the happy scenes where days of childhood flew. O for one glace at that old school no tongue nor pen can tell how I revere that school house dear at
