    animal seen at Dromahair, in the Co Leitrim. Strange animals are usually seen in lakes or rivers. There was a strange animal seen at Lough Bó, in the parish of Gleann, and in the Co Sligo. There was two horses met pulling a carriage after them, in the parish of Gleann and in the Co Sligo. There was a water horse seen at Andrew Laings, his colour was dark brown, he had short feet and a round neck, he was seen by Paul Mulvaney, Carrownadargney, Geevagh, Co Sligo. There is a place in Tom Conlon's land called Lug a Honey, it is called by that name because it is covered over with rabbits. Long ago there used to be a lot of wild cats seen in the townland of Carrownadargney, Geevagh, Co Sligo.
