    that he couldn't teach any. His pay was small about 12 shillings a quarter together with his board and lodging which was'nt up to a very high standard. As far as I can learn he was a native of Keash.
    Later on a Mr Little began to teach and he could play a violin and trained many of young boys who became good musicians.
    The next teacher was Mr John Mullen and he was teaching in his fathers house in Drumcormack. He emigrated to America and was succeeded by Miss Doyle of Ballymote. She got married to Sergent Crane also of Ballymote.
