- I have heard of another hedge school that was in Kilmorgan. A teacher by the name of Mr Gurrie taught in it one time and another man by the name of Mr Devaney taught in this school also.
- There was another school in Drumfin. The name of the man that taught there was Mr McGoldrick. The pupils used to bring him a penny a day or sometimes his lunch. All these schools are gone now.
