People say it is not lucky to give away the halter after selling an animal. People that have a butcher's shop in towns come out to the country and buy sheep, cows and other animals for killing for there own use. There were other fairs held at Templehouse beside a public house, but it is discontinued. The halter is given away with a horse when sold.
