  1. The care of farm animals is a thing of great importance. There is great care taken of a cow because she gives us milk and this is good especially for the young. A cow is a pet in every home. All cows are called by various names such as Jack, Lavin, or Polley. When driving the cows to the pasture land they are sometimes called, ''pugging'' or [?]. When a cow calves some farmers let the calf get a suck on the cow.
