  1. The Meal bridge is situated about two miles from Tralee, is built of mass concrete. Any passing along the seashore from the lock-gates at Blennerville tio the Spa cant but notice this old bridge. There were hard times when was constructed about one hundred and forty years ago, as the labour that time was paid by way of Indian meal; hence the name "Meal Bridge".
    It is seldom that the people of to-day ponder over the hardship the old people had to endure. Let us hope and pray that they are
