The name of my Parish is Killeentierna, it means the church of St Tierna. It is in the barony of Trughenacmy. There are four families living in the townland. They are all slated houses. The houses were more numerous in former times. There are five old ruins in my townland. The inhabitants emigrated to America. The land is hilly and boggy.
