    Quates are played in the following way, first of all you get 2 big stones as jacks, and two flat stones as quates and start pitching from one jack to the other, and if you put a quate upon the jack, you will get a ten and if you put a quate lying against it you will get a five. Otherwise the owner of the quate or quats nearest the jack gets one or two as is the case maybe. A game may be played for any number 50 or 100 and whoever makes the number first wins.
    This is how blind man's buff is played. First you would get a cloth or cap and put it on over your eyes, and try to catch one of those you are after, and whoever you catch will hunt them
    Nearly everybody plays thief and paymaster. First you would get 4 small pieces of paper and you would mark down on them, thief, paymaster, find outer and judge. Then you would put them inot a cap and shake them, each one would get his turn to draw a piece of paper, and whoever would get find outer should guess who the thief was. The thief would get as many slaps as the judge would say, and the
