    Then each gay scene looked more serene as I was drawing nigh.
    Till one more fine all on my line I happened for to spy
    It's glimmering rays caused me to gaze it shone like sun in June
    The appearance gay that took the sway round lovely Magheracloone

    St. Peter's Church it was the first to attract my wondering gaze
    From twelve till to I stood to view it's most enchanting rays
    Search Erin then from end to end and you'll get no better view than the lovely braes of ancient days round lovely Magheracloone

    When I came to Drumgossatt cross there on level ground to see the new National School built up erect and sound such conveniency is fine to see with a master's lovely home and the change is fine since eighty nine
