    When there is a halo round the moon it is a sign of rain
    In regard to the stars.
    If there are many stars in the sky it is a sign of frost.
    If the stars shoot it is a sign of rain.
    In regard to a rainbow.
    If a rainbow appears in the morning it is a sign of bad weather.
    If a rainbow appears in the night it is a sign of good weather.
    Birds and animals as weather omens.
    When the swallow flies low it is a sign of fain
    When the lark flies high it is a sign of good weather
    When the cat sits with her back to the fire it
