  1. The games I play are skipping, "I spy" and tig. Those are the games I play outside. Here is a list of the games I play inside "Hiding the thimble" "blind man's buff" "Mattie's brown hen" and draughts. We play skipping in this way. We get a long rope, and two people hold the rope one at each side and they turn the rope round and round. Then one person runs in and jumps up and down while the rope is going round the person until the person misses. Then another person goes in.
    This is the way we play "I spy." First we get a stone and a box. Then we choose a seeker. We all stand round and we say over this rhyme, a word for each person,
    "As I went up a hinky pinky Hill,
    I met some hinky pinky children,
    Guess what colour they were wearing?
    which ever person the word wearing ends at chooses a colour which they have on them. Whatever colour is chosen we
