- A sling was made out of one piece of board. There was a split in the top of it. You could put a stone in it and swing round and the stone would go very far.
The people used to play cat and dog. They would have a short stick for the cat and a long one for the dog. They would put the short stick on a stool or on a very big stone and hit it with the big stick. They would measure it how far would the cat go.
