    This is the way we play Nuts-in-May: There gets an equal number in each side and they say "Here we go gathering nuts in May, nuts in May, nuts in may, Here were go gathering nuts in May On a cold and frosty morning." One side says "Who will ye have for nuts in May, buts in May, nuts in May ; Who will ye have for nuts in May on a cold and frost morning?"
    The other side answers "We'll have - - - - (they say someone's name) for nuts in May etc. to "morning" The first side asks "Who will ye have to take her (him) away, to take her way etc - - - - to morning" The second side answers "We'll have - - - - (they say some player's name on their own side) to take her away, to take her away etc morning
