  1. When children had the measels they got nettle broth and garlic to put the measels out on them.
    To cure sores, or septic spots the effected parts are bathed in the water in which bog-bean and water grass were boiled.
    For to purify the blood in the spring time Rosenoble was boiled in some water. Then sulphur and some cream of tart, treacle and salt was stirred into it, and it was put into a jar, and people got a spoonful every morning fasting.
    To cure a strained limb bomfrey was boiled in water, and the sore part was bathed with it.
